"Coming to know Mary in my life has been a grace… Mary is someone who I'm able to go to and just receive that understanding of where my life should be heading - directly to Jesus."
James is 27 and from England.
Our Lady's message to Mirjana, Međugorje, 2 March 2011:
"Dear children, My motherly heart suffers tremendously as I look at my children who persistently put what is human before what is of God; at my children who, despite everything that surrounds them and despite all the signs that are sent to them, think that they can walk without my Son. They cannot! They are walking to eternal perdition. That is why I am gathering you, who are ready to open your heart to me, you who are ready to be apostles of my love, to help me; so that by living God's love you may be an example to those who do not know it. May fasting and prayer give you strength in that and I bless you with motherly blessing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Thank you."
According to Mirjana, Our Lady was very sad during this apparition.
"Our Lady is so real, in that she has really been a true mother through my whole life, accompanying me at all difficult moments and at the happy moments, and I hope and pray that she will always stay close to me."
Danijela is from Croatia.
"Our Blessed Mother is very important to me because since as far back as I remember my parents and grandparents instilled in my siblings and me a great love for praying the rosary. In the rosary I have found consolation and the ability to really live out the life of Christ in prayer. I like to begin and end my day with the rosary. If I can give anybody anything, I desire to give them a great love for saying the rosary."
Juan is 22 and from the United States; he gives his algo de María in English & Spanish.
"I have a very great devotion to Our Lady, especially the Vietnamese Lady of Lavang, who appeared 200 years ago for the Vietnamese people who escaped the persecution in that area in Lavang and during that time Our Lady appeared to them to console them, to heal them, because they were in a jungle so they had no medicine, nothing. So Our Lady told them just to take and cook the grass around about, and she said to them from now until the end of the world, everyone who comes to this area to pray to me, I will hear their prayer."
Paul Trong Song Lý is from Vietnam; he gives his response in English & Vietnamese.
9th March - Ash Wednesday - Roberto
"At first hand I had a wonderful, wonderful experience of being received by Jesus and Mary, and then I discovered St Louis de Montfort's total consecration to Jesus through Mary .. Over the last 3 years I've consecrated myself to Jesus through Mary doing the 33 day preparation and it means for me doing everything for Jesus through Mary, and it has just made a total difference to my life."
Roberto is from London.
"Mary is like my mother. I grew up having great faith in Mary, especially during tough times when I lost my mum. It felt like they were just together in heaven. And especially Our Mother of Perpetual Help, she has been there and she has helped me take my baby steps, just like any mother would do to their daughter. She has never failed me, thank God to have her there, and she is a continuous inspiration for purity and yes, thank God for Mary."
Fay is from the Philippines.
"I'd like to share a story of how really Our Lady has helped to hold our family together."
Denise is from England.
13th March - 1st Sunday of Lent - Erin-Thérèse
"We ended up being baptised in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Mary led us there but this is the thing about Mary: her role is to lead us to her Son, Christ Jesus; her role is to show us what it is like to love God completely, to say 'yes' to Him everyday and for me that means that Mary is the one who teaches me what it means to truly be a human being."
Erin-Thérèse is 28 & from the USA. She and her husband make knotted rosaries which has turned into a very tiny little 'apostolate' or 'rosary mission'. They inquire with different missions & organisations about whether they're in need of rosaries, & then make as many as they ask for & send them off at no cost - wonderful, hey! If you'd like some, contact the Totus2us team.
"For me the Virgin Mary is everything. Through my entire life she has been with me because my mother is a person who loves her with her whole spirit and soul, so I have learned that from my mum. And for me as well she has been a companion in all my life."
Francisco is 40 & from Columbia; on his mother's birthday, he gives his algo acerca de María in English & Spanish.
"For me, Mary has always been an all-loving and safe and trustworthy and reliable presence in my prayer, who I've always known I can turn to."
Emily is 30 & from London.
"Mary for me is a symbol of profound humility and profound love. And I think the most important thing for me is her willingness to accept what God wills without understanding it, without knowing what's ahead but saying yes. That's to me the best example that we shouldn't be afraid of what's ahead for us as long as we trust in the Lord."
Kevin is from the USA.
"I recently was reading a book that is a collection of lectures Cardinal Avery Dulles gave at the seminary in Dunwoody about Pope John Paul II and his ministry. One segment he devoted to what he called John Paul II's Marian theology or mission and it was a wonderful section. Something that rang a bell with me was the section about Mary as a mediator, Mary as someone to whom you pray to ask God to help you or other people in difficult circumstances."
Jim is from the USA.
Our Lady's annual message to Mirjana in Medugorje, 18 March 2011:
"“Dear children! I am with you in the name of the greatest Love, in the name of dear God, who has come close to you through my Son and has shown you real love. I desire to lead you on the way of God. I desire to teach you real love so that others may see it in you, that you may see it in others, that you may be a brother to them and that others may see a merciful brother in you. My children, do not be afraid to open your hearts to me. With Motherly love, I will show you what I expect of each of you, what I expect of my apostles. Set out with me. Thank you!"
According to Mirjana, Our Lady asked all of us to pray for the priests, adding "Again, I emphasize that I will triumph together with them."
19th March - Feast of St Joseph - Joseph
"Our Lady means everything to me. I've been through quite a lot of trials and tribulations but every time I've called on her name and asked her to protect us I know I get the same love and protection as she always gives to her children, as long as you call on her name."
Joseph is from Sierra Leone.
"Mary has been everything for me in my life. Especially one moment when I was very upset, I had problems with my family, I felt her presence in my life. She was like the lovely mother carrying me with her hands, and then I sorted out the problems. I just love her and I am grateful to her for being with me during all my life. ..

"The Guadalupe Virgin is my heart, is my mother. The Virgin for Mexicans, for other nationalities, is the mother. In this moment the world needs hope, love, compassion. My mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, represents every concept about love. We humans, we need to understand we need to give love right now, in this moment. Because of this I love Guadalupe, my mother, forever."

"Thank you, heavenly Father, for choosing the perfect mother, now our mother, for your only Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I thank you, Mother of God, for the priceless yes to the Angel Gabriel which changed human history. The yes gave birth to the ultimate victory for the children of God through Jesus Christ."

Our Lady of Medjugorje's message to Marija, 25 March 2011:
"Dear children! In a special way today I desire to call you to conversion. As of today, may new life begin in your heart. Children, I desire to see your ‘yes’, and may your life be a joyful living of God’s will at every moment of your life. In a special way today, I bless you with my motherly blessing of peace, love and unity in my heart and in the heart of my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call."

27th March - 3rd Sunday of Lent - Rufaro
"Our Lady for me is very much my mother and has helped me grow in my prayer life. There is no better guide, I think, to help you to grow in your prayer life, to grow to love Jesus and to know him, because she knew him better than any other human being did on this earth. And she is a very good role model because she is the one who said yes to God and the one who pondered everything in her heart, incarnated the word, she did everything she was told to. So you can have no better guide than that, especially when it comes to helping you to love him. There is no other better person for me to learn how to love Jesus than Mary, my mother."
Rufaro is 30 and from Zimbabwe.
"I have a great devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help."
Oftaciana is from the Philippines.
"Thank you very much, dear Mother Mary, for helping me so much, so far."
Bridie is from Ireland.
"The Star of the Sea, my patron shall be, the Mother of Christ my King. She is the one who leads me aright, to the truth of God in everything. To Mary I turn for her example to learn loyalty to her son. With her for my guide, with her, side-by-side, in the Church, my home, we stand as one."
Maria is from London.
